Marlins prospect Max Meyer has been placed on the 7-day minor-league IL with ulnar nerve irritation according to the Miami Herald’s Jordan McPherson. (Jordan McPherson on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Max Meyer will miss at least one start as he deals with ulnar never irritation. He will be reevaluated after a week but the organization does not believe the injury is serious. Meyer is a top-10 pitching prospect so the club will likely play it safe with the 23-year old who is expected to make his MLB debut this season.
