Drew Smyly threw 4 1/3 innings, giving up three runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five during Chicago's 3-2 loss to Pittsburgh.
Fantasy Impact:
Smyly continues to pitch at a level that makes him borderline fantasy relevant. He is in the 97th percentile in exit velocity and continues to make batters chase while limiting walks. The problem is that he gives up a ton of hits, so his ratios are less than ideal. Smyly is a better streaming option against teams who struggle against lefties.
