Xander Bogaerts exits game after outfield collision

Xander Bogaerts was pinch hit for in the eighth inning of Friday night’s game against Seattle. He collided with Alex Verdugo in top half of the inning while going for a pop up into left field.
Fantasy Impact:
Bogaerts landed awkwardly on his upper back and arms after the collision. Although he finished the top half of the eighth inning, he was likely lifted to be further evaluated. Fantasy managers will want to keep an eye out for the Red Sox post game press conference to see if there is an update on the star shortstop.
