Michael Wacha logs no-decision in start vs. Seattle

by Andersen Pickard | Red Sox Correspondent | Sat, May 21st 6:18am EDT

Red Sox starting pitcher Michael Wacha allowed two runs on four hits and three walks over the course of 4 2/3 innings against the Mariners on Friday. He struck out three batters and finished with the no-decision. Boston ultimately defeated Seattle by a score of 7-3.

Fantasy Impact:

Wacha, who had been dealing with left intercostal irritation, returned from the 15-day IL ahead of Friday's start. He is 3-0 with a 1.76 ERA, 1.01 WHIP, and .162 OBA through six starts this season. He has also posted 6.46 K/9 and 4.11 BB/9. The right-hander should be rostered in most leagues given Boston's success as of late, as well as their favorable upcoming schedule.
