Jazz Chisholm Jr. exits Sunday's game with hamstring tightness

by Kelly Kirby | Marlins Correspondent | Sun, May 22nd 2:57pm EDT

Marlins' 2B Jazz Chisholm Jr. left Sunday's game in the second inning with hamstring tightness. He started the game even though, on Saturday, he had experienced two separate left leg issues: He was spiked in the knee by Ozzie Albies as he applied a tag and then came up lame after beating out an infield single the next inning. Fantasy Impact:

Chisholm will be re-evaluated after the game, but fantasy managers should prepare for a couple of missed games since hamstring issues tend to linger. This could be a crushing blow to fantasy teams, as the second baseman has been red hot in 2022. He is slashing .290/.341/.922 with seven home runs, 27 RBIs, and six stolen bases, so hopefully, he will miss a minimum amount of time.
