Vladimir Guerrero Jr. continues dreadful May on Sunday

by Dan Harris | Blue Jays Correspondent | Sun, May 22nd 5:41pm EDT

Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 0-for-3 with a walk on Sunday against the Reds.

Fantasy Impact:

Guerrero is now batting .235 in May with one home run, five runs, and five RBI. He's hardly alone in offensive futility over the last several weeks for Toronto, but he's reached a level where most fantasy managers do not expect him to struggle this much. Guerrero is still hitting the ball extremely hard, but he's chasing the ball much more than in past years, likely a product of him pressing a bit to break his slump. So long as he isn't injured, you leave Guerrero in your lineup in all formats, of course, and just hope that he turns things around sooner rather than later.
