The Padres crushed the Giants 10-1, racking up 17 hits. Eric Hosmer though had just one of them, continuing his slide at the plate. He did however at least score a run.
Just nine days ago, Hosmer was hitting .377 and was a key component to San Diego's resurgent year. Since that point, the Padres first baseman is 3-for-30 with one run scored and zero RBI. That's seen his batting average drop to .319. Hopefully he can snap out of it and start producing again.
