Whit Merrifield went 1-for-4 with a run scored in Kansas City's 7-6 loss the Twins on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Whit Merrifield has now hit safely run three straight and 13 of his last 14. The second leadoff man has raised his average from .135 to .209 in that 14-game stretch. Merrfield's fantasy managers have to be happy with the signs of life he has shown in recent weeks. He still has a long ways to go to come close to his draft day expectation at the moment but he is trending in the right direction.
