Fantasy Impact:

McCullers sustained a forearm flexor strain in last year's playoffs and has been on the 60-day injured list since April 18 (retroactive to April 4). This is positive news for McCullers in his rehab as he was looking likely to face surgery. He threw 10 pitches from flat ground and 10 pitches from the mound, two feet from the rubber and kept his velocity around 80 MPH. He's scheduled to pitch again on Monday from 90 feet. McCullers said he felt encouraged by the progress but fantasy managers shouldn't expect him back before the All-Star break.
