Jorge Lopez earns fifth save Monday
by Owen Klukas | Mets Correspondent | Tue, May 24th 2:19am EDT
Orioles reliever Jorge Lopez faced three batters while allowing zero runs, one walk, and zero strikeouts to earn the save in Monday's 6-4 win over the Yankees.
Fantasy Impact:
Lopez walked the first batter he faced but was able to ground Marwin Gonzalez into a double play to end the ball game. The O's closer earned his first save since April 23rd. With a 1.29 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP on the year, Lopez looks like a solid closer moving forward.
