J.D. Martinez notches four hits in Chicago

by Andersen Pickard | Mets Correspondent | Wed, May 25th 8:52am EDT

Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez went 4-for-5 with three singles and a double against the White Sox on Tuesday night. He also drew a walk, struck out, plated one run, and scored three times. Boston ultimately defeated Chicago by a score of 16-3.

Fantasy Impact:

Martinez has been a hitting machine this season, slashing .366/.408/.597 with five homers, 21 RBI, 10 walks, and 36 strikeouts this season. Although his power has regressed since last season, his offensive production continues to run wild. He should be rostered in 100 percent of fantasy baseball leagues.
