Daniel Lynch pitched 5 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on seven hits and two walks whiles striking six in Kansas City's 3-2 win against the Twins on Thursday.

Daniel Lynch pitched into the 6th inning in Minnesota on Thursday night and struck out six Twins but was set to take the loss before the Royals mounted a comeback. Lynch hasn't won since the calendar flipped, going 0-2 in May after a 2-1 April. Lynch carries a 3.92 ERA and 1.41 WHIP to go with 37 strike outs in 39 innings across eight starts this season. The lefty's next start is scheduled for Tuesday in Cleveland against the Guardians.
