Avisail Garcia was put on the IL Friday for undisclosed reasons. There are some reports it is the COVID-IL, which would explain the lack of information. (Jordan McPherson on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
If Garcia is indeed on the COVID-IL, he could be back in a matter of days if he passes protocols. Conversely, it could last much longer if he's symptomatic. Garcia's production is a long way off from his stellar 2021 so far this year. On the season, he's hitting .207 with three HRs, three SBs, and ten RBI.
