Andrew Kittredge (back) delivers scoreless frame in return
by Andersen Pickard | Cardinals Correspondent | Mon, Jun 6th 8:17am EDT
Rays reliever Andrew Kittredge, who had spent the last two weeks on the injured list with lower back tightness, threw a scoreless ninth inning against the White Sox on Sunday. However, it was all for naught as the damage had already been done earlier in the game. Tampa Bay ultimately fell to Chicago by a score of 6-5.
Fantasy Impact:
Kittredge is 3-1 with a 2.84 ERA, 0.74 WHIP, and .191 OBA through 19 innings out of the bullpen this season. He has logged five saves over seven opportunities and should be the Rays' primary closer going forward. As such, he's worth rostering in most leagues.
