Free agent pitcher Trevor Rosenthal threw 95-96 mph in a showcase with 14 teams in attendance on Tuesday. Unfortunately, he did end his showcase with a cramp in his hamstring. (Jon Heyman on Twitter )
Rosenthal has not pitched in the majors since 2020 and spent 2021 on the 60-day IL with right shoulder inflammation. He logged a 1.90 ERA in 23 games between Kansas City and San Diego in 2020. Hopefully the hamstring cramp is just a minor setback and we get a positive update from his camp soon.
