Red Sox reliever Matt Strahm was tasked with securing a 1-0 win for the second consecutive night. Pitching the ninth inning of Wednesday’s game against the Angels, Strahm struck out one batter over 2/3 innings. He threw just five pitches (all strikes) and earned the save as Boston ultimately defeated Los Angeles by a narrow score of 1-0.
