Royce Lewis has been diagnosed with a partially torn ACL in his right knee and is out for the season. (Do-Hyoung Park on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is such an awful break for the budding superstar, who just had ACL reconstruction surgery on the same knee. This was his first season back in two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic and then his surgery, and he was not only dominating both the majors and minors in his time at each stop, but was learning the outfield on the fly. His estimated recovery time from surgery is 12 months so with any luck, he can return to baseball again next season. Downgrade him in dynasty formats, obviously, but mostly, just have sympathy for the young talent.
