Luke Voit blasts HR in loss to Rockies

Luke Voit had a solid day Sunday, going 2-for-4 with a home run in San Diego's 4-2 loss to Colorado.
Fantasy Impact:
It was Voit's 6th home run of the season. The big man was expected to be a force in the middle of the Padres lineup. Between injuries and inconsistency at the plate, that's yet to come to fruition. The slugger is hitting just .227 with a .696 OPS. A change of scenery from Yankee Stadium to Petco Park certainly has something to do with it. But he simply strikes out far too often to make a dent for fantasy lineups outside the deepest of mixed leagues.
