Jordan Romano secured his 17th save, pitching 1 1/3 scoreless innings during Toronto's win over New York on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
This was a big save for Romano and the Jays since the team has lost two straight to the Yankees and only had a one-run lead going into the ninth inning. He struck out two batters and managed to close the door to secure his 17th save of the season. His peripherals have been decent this season, producing a 10.44 K/9, 3.24 BB/9 and a 29:9 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Romano has been a top-10 closer this year producing a 2.52 ERA, and 1.12 WHIP over 24 2/3 innings.
