Max Scherzer allowed two runs on three hits and a walk over 3 1/3 innings on his rehab start for Double-A Binghamton on Tuesday, striking out six. (SNY Mets on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
Scherzer said after the start that he felt healthy, which is all the Mets could ask for. He threw 65 pitches so, theoretically, he could be ready to rejoin the Mets rotation if he feels good on Wednesday. The outing would likely come Sunday against Miami, so fantasy managers who are able to activate Scherzer mid-week may want to do so if the reports are good tomorrow.
