Daniel Lynch pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing one run on three hits and five walks while striking out five In Kansas City’s 5-0 loss to the Angels on Wednesday.

Fantasy Impact:

Lynch failed to make it out of the 5th inning for just the fourth time this season as it took him 104 pitches to record 14-outs. That kind of pitch count inefficiency was partly due to his five walks. Alas, it’s impossible to do anything but lose when your offense is completely shutout. Lynch falls to 3-7 on the season, carrying a 4.95 ERA and 1.54 WHIP across 13 starts. The brightest fantasy spot for Lynch is the fact he’s struck out 65 batters in 63 2/3 innings. Lynch’s next start is set for Tuesday against the Rangers.
