Braxton Garrett logs 4 2/3 innings Thursday afternoon

Braxton Garrett worked 4 2/3 innings in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Rockies, allowing two runs (one earned) on nine hits and one walk while striking out seven.
Fantasy Impact:
Garrett has been inconsistent over four starts since joining the Marlins rotation earlier this month, but there have been some definite positives. Despite allowing nine hits, the 24-year-old lefty was able to limit the Rockies on the scoreboard while racking up a season-high seven strikeouts across 4 2/3 frames Thursday afternoon. Garrett found the zone with 68-of-94 pitches and recorded an impressive 17.0-percent swinging strike rate in this one. He will look to build off this outing in St. Louis on Tuesday.
