Jose Quintana allowed two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out six during Thursday's 8-7 extra-inning win over the Cubs.
Fantasy Impact:
Quintana (1-4) gave up two runs in the third but exited after six strong innings with a four run advantage. The Pirates' bullpen could not hold the lead, leaving the 33-year-old with a no-decision. Thursday's outing was a welcomed turnaround from his past starts this month, as he holds a 5.63 ERA in June. Quintana is in line to start next week in Washington.
