Ke'Bryan Hayes went 1-for-5 with a two-run homer and three RBI during Thursday's 8-7 extra-inning win over the Cubs.
Fantasy Impact:
Hayes launched a third inning slider to left-center for his third home run of the year, giving the Pirates a 3-2 lead. The 25-year-old would come around to score in the bottom of the tenth via Michael Chavis' single to send Pittsburgh home with the win. Following his slide into home, Hayes remain on the ground for a moment as the action forced a collision with catcher Willson Contreras. He was able to walk off the field without any assistance, a promising sign that no significant injury was incurred.
