Giancarlo Stanton homers, drives in three runs in win Thursday

Giancarlo Stanton went 1-for-3 with a home run, a walk, three RBI and two runs scored in New York’s 7-6 comeback win against the Astros on Thursday.

Fantasy Impact:

Stanton tied the game 3-3 with his 3-run blast off Framber Valdez in the 1st inning Thursday night. The homer ended an 0-for-14 slump as Stanton has struggled at the plate in June after hit .301 in May. The slugger is 7-for-52 (.135) in June but has still provided fantasy managers with four homers and 10 RBI bringing his season totals to 15 home runs and 45 RBI but dragging his average down from .285 to .246. Managers should still expect the power and hope the average come back around.
