Jason Alexander lasted 5 2/3 innings on the mound Thursday, allowing four runs on six hits while also walking two and striking out five in the Brewers' 6-4 win over the Cardinals.

Alexander has allowed three runs or less in four of five starts on the mound this month for the Brewers, posting a 3.21 ERA and 1.64 WHIP to go along with a 1.18 K/BB ratio in that span.
