Manuel Margot may not need surgery

by Vince DiSilvio | Twins Correspondent | Fri, Jun 24th 1:40pm EDT

Manuel Margot's knee issue is related to his right patellar tendon, not his ACL. He will be out for at least 2 months but things are "trending toward being optimistic" that he won't need surgery. (Marc Topkin on Twitter)

Fantasy Impact:

This is somewhat encouraging news given the last update fearing a torn ACL. The situation is still not 100% sorted out yet, but it's looking more likely that Margot can return at some point this season. Still, it may be late August/early September before we see him again, making him droppable if needed.
