James McCann reinstated from IL

James McCann (wrist) has been activated from the 10-day IL. He is not starting in Friday's game. Patrick Mazeika has been optioned to Triple-A. (New York Mets on Twitter)
Fantasy Impact:
McCann returns after battling with a wrist injury since May 10th. He was ineffective in his 64 plate appearances in 2022, slashing .196/.266/.286. He isn't a high priority to pick up right now, but he could provide some value at the catcher position if he can get his bat going as he did in 2020.
