George Springer is out of the lineup for the Blue Jays' game on Friday against the Brewers, but he is feeling better and will test his elbow pre-game to see if he could be available to pinch hit. (Arden Zwelling on Twitter)
Springer left Tuesday's game with elbow discomfort and hasn't played since, but the Blue Jays have given no indication yet that he'll require an IL stint. His pre-game swings on Friday should tell the team a lot, and if they don't go well, Toronto will likely make a move by tomorrow to maximize the amount of time to which they can backdate Springer's IL stint. For the moment, however, it's just wait-and-see for Springer's managers.
