Giancarlo Stanton went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in New York’s 3-1 loss to the Astros on Friday.
Fantasy Impact:
Stanton hit his 16th home run of the season on Friday night to account for all of New York’s scoring against Justin Verlander the Astros. His opposite field solo shot landed in the second deck and helped the Yankees avoid the shutout Friday night. Stanton is still just 8-for-56 (.143) in June but has 5 homers, 11 RBI and 15 walks in the month so he is still providing fantasy managers with value.
