MacKenzie Gore pitches well in no-decision Friday

Padres starter MacKenzie Gore tossed five scoreless innings Friday in a 1-0 win over the Phillies. Gore allowed just three hits but had to work around four walks.
Fantasy Impact:
The Padres rookie struck out four but needed 97 pitches to get through his five frames. Nevertheless, this was a solid bounce back effort for the 23-year-old. He had previously allowed 14 earned runs over his last two starts. His next matchup will be difficult to keep the momentum at Los Angeles to face the Dodgers.
