Edward Olivares homers twice in return from IL Friday

Edward Olivares went 2-for-3 with two solo home runs in Kansas City’s 3-1 win against Oakland on Friday.

Fantasy Impact:

Olivares homered in his first two at-bats returning from a right quad strain that had kept him out since May 9. Olivares had just started to work his way into everyday at-bats when he went down and should pick right back up where he left off if he keeps hitting. Olivares is hitting a cool .395 with a 1.097 OPS bd has two stolen bases in 16 games this season. Olivares should be activated by fantasy managers and the recent loss of Salvador Perez means MJ Melendez will be behind the plate and not in the outfield moving forward opening more of a path to playing time for the 26-year old.
