Tony La Russa said that Anderrson is getting a day off after a night game as a precaution but also because of soreness from his groin strain. The fact that Anderson is feeling any soreness, particularly because he came back a bit earlier than most expected, is troublesome. Managers should monitor La Russa's comments and any further news about Anderson, just in case he aggravates the injury and requires another IL stint.
