Adrian Sampson pitched five innings, allowing four hits, two walks, two earned runs, and registered five strikeouts. He earned a no-decision Saturday in the Cubs’ loss to the Cardinals.
Fantasy Impact:
Sampson has provided three solid appearances for the Cubs this season. In 10 2/3 innings, he has a 1.69 ERA, 0.84 WHIP, 8.44 K/9, and 1.69 BB/9. Sampson has been back and forth to Triple-A twice this season, and is not a fantasy option at this time.
