Corey Kluber strikes out six Pittsburgh batters

Rays starter Corey Kluber allowed two runs, five hits, and zero walks over 5 1/3 innings of work against the Pirates on Saturday afternoon. He also struck out six batters but did not factor into the final decision. Tampa Bay ultimately picked up a 5-4 victory, walking off Pittsburgh for the second consecutive day.

Kluber is 3-4 with a 3.45 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and .245 OBA through 14 starts this season. He has also posted a 21.7 percent strikeout rate and 4.0 percent walk rate, the latter of which ranks among the top four percent of MLB pitchers. He has also induced an impressive 33.1 percent chase rate.
