Jeff Samardzija pitches well in losing effort to Tampa Bay

Jeff Samardzija pitched a quality start on Saturday; something he has not done in awhile. Samardzija let up three runs in seven innings. He pitched seven strikeouts and only one walk.
Fantasy Impact:
Samardzija has been very inconsistent this season. He has had a few good starts, and some awful ones too. With a 4-4 record and an ERA of 4.84, Samardzija has been a disappointment for the White Sox and fantasy owners. He has value in deeper leagues, and a little value in daily tournament play as a high-risk, high-reward option when the matchup is right. However, stacking against him in daily leagues is most likely your best option.
