Wander Franco singles in return from IL

Rays shortstop Wander Franco made his return from the injured list against the Pirates on Sunday, going 1-for-5 with a single and strikeout. Tampa Bay ultimately defeated Pittsburgh by a score of 4-2, closing out a three-game sweep at home.

Franco's return provided some rare good news for a Tampa Bay lineup that has been decimated by injuries as of late. The 21-year-old phenom is now slashing .268/.303/.415 with four homers, 19 RBI, 10 walks, 21 strikeouts, and four stolen bases this season.
