Jose Berrios only pitched 2 2/3 innings on Sunday, allowing eight earned runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out one during Toronto's loss to Milwaukee on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Berrios was crushed in this game, allowing a season high eight earned runs before being pulled in the third inning. He has more home runs allowed (5) than strikeouts (2) in his last two starts which speaks to how poorly he has been playing recently. He can probably be acquired for pennies on the dollar but nothing indicates that he is worthy as a starter at the moment. With the rough loss, his record drops to 5-4 with a 5.86 and 1.39 WHIP with 64 strikeouts over 15 starts. He'll look to break out of his slump in a start against the Rays on Friday.
