Eric Hosmer drives in run, scores run in loss to Phillies

Eric Hosmer went 2-for-4 with a double, run scored and an RBI in San Diego's 8-5 loss to the Phillies Sunday.
Fantasy Impact:
Hosmer was an early MVP candidate a month into the season. He then fell off a table in the month of May. Things got a little better in June, and he's picked up a couple multi-hit games recently. But, until he can show any consistency at the plate, the veteran first baseman is better off left on waivers.
