Emmanuel Clase tossed a scoreless ninth inning to pick up a save in a 3-2 win over the Twins on Tuesday. Clase did not allow a baserunner while striking out two.
Fantasy Impact:
Clase was dealing in the top of the ninth, throwing five pitches over 100 MPH. He needed just 12 pitches, 10 of which were strikes, to set the Twins down in order. Clase has been one of the best relievers in fantasy in 2022, posting a 1-2 record, 1.44 ERA, 0.77 WHIP, 18 saves, and 35 strikeouts over 31 1/3 innings of work.
