Ross Stripling pitched five innings, allowing two earned runs on five hits and a walk while striking out three during Toronto's win over Boston on Tuesday.

Stripling isn't a big strikeout pitcher but has held teams to two or fewer earned runs in each of his last five starts and has become a solid streaming option in all mixed leagues. Even as a fill-in starter, he is outshining fellow teammates Jose Berrios and Yusei Kikuchi who have been in significant slumps recently. On the season Stripling has a 4-2 record with a 3.12 ERA and 1.08 WHIP over 57 2/3 innings.
