Taylor Rogers blows save, takes the loss Tuesday vs. DBacks

Padres closer Taylor Rogers blew his fourth save of the season Tuesday, taking the loss as Arizona came back for a 7-6 win. Rogers allowed a run on two hits and two strikeouts in 1 2/3 of an inning.

Fantasy Impact:

Rogers entered the game in the 8th inning with the bases loaded an no outs. He immediately plunked home the tying run, but then induced a double play and got a strikeout to end the inning. However, in the 9th, he gave up two singles and with two outs, Christian Walker hit a ball in the hole. Jake Cronenworth was unable to connect with C.J. Abrams at second base for the out, as the winning run came around to score. It was far from the best appearance from Rogers, but the game very easily could have practically ended in the 8th inning.
