Clay Holmes pitched one inning, allowing one run (unearned) on two hits and no walks while striking out two in New York’s 2-1 victory over Oakland on Tuesday.

Holmes has been a relegation this season and has earned Aaron Boone’s trust in high leverage situations. He will maintain his relevance, both for real and for fantasy purposes, even with the imminent return of Aroldis Chapman.
