Mark Melancon tossed a scoreless ninth inning on the mound Tuesday for the Diamondbacks, walking one and striking out two in the Diamondbacks' 7-6 win over the Padres.

Melancon has posted scoreless appearances in three of his last four trips to the mound for the Diamondbacks, striking out three and walking two in that span. The veteran right-hander has had an extremely up-and-down campaign for fantasy managers this season, posting a 1.56 WHIP and 5.47 ERA to go along with a 5.13 K/9 ratio and 11 saves in 30 relief appearances this season.
