Alex Wood strikes out six in Wednesday's loss

Alex Wood was handed the loss after allowing three runs on seven hits while striking out seven in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Tigers.
Fantasy Impact:
It wasn't a terrible outing for Wood, but he was given his seventh loss of the season after he didn't receive much run support. The lefthander should be happy to see the calendar turn to July, as he boasted a 5.34 ERA in his six starts in June. The 31-year-old has been shaky all season, but he is still viewed as a low-end fantasy starter thanks to some value he has shown throughout the year. He is set to take on the Diamondbacks on Tuesday.
