Kyle Wright pitched seven innings, allowing one earned run on three hits and three walks while striking out four during Atlanta's win over Philadelphia on Wednesday.
That's more like it. Wright had allowed an astronomical 21 hits over his last two starts, so only allowing three on Wednesday was more characteristic for the young hurler. His nine swinging strikes and 19 percent CSW weren't great but he was able to limit the Phillies to one run on 98 pitches. The rough outings aside, he has an excellent 9-4 record with a 3.03 ERA and 1.14 WHIP over 15 starts. His next matchup is against the Cardinals at home on Monday.
