Ryan Helsley was unable to shut the door on the Marlins Wednesday, allowing two runs on two hits while also walking one and striking out three, blowing a save and picking up a loss in the Cardinals' 4-3 loss to the Marlins.

Helsley snapped a streak of eight consecutive scoreless appearances on Wednesday, posting a 0.92 WHIP and 1.50 ERA to go along with 17 strikeouts and three saves this month. The veteran right-hander carries a 13.21 K/9 ratio to go along with a 0.88 ERA and 0.65 WHIP with six saves in 25 relief appearances this season.
