Calvin Faucher surrenders homer in loss to Brewers

Rays reliever Calvin Faucher was tasked with preserving a 3-3 tie during the eighth inning of Wednesday's game against the Brewers. He managed to strike out three batters, but he also surrendered a tie-breaking solo homer to Rowdy Tellez in the process. Tampa Bay ultimately fell to Milwaukee by a score of 5-3 and, as a result, Faucher was charged with the loss.
Fantasy Impact:
Faucher is now 1-2 with a 9.00 ERA, 2.11 WHIP, and .317 OBA through nine innings in his rookie campaign. He has an impressive 10.00 K/9 rate but has also posted 6.00 BB/9 and 3.00 HR/9.
