Red Sox reliever Matt Strahm posted two solid innings against the Blue Jays on Wednesday evening. He preserved a 3-3 tie in the ninth inning, forcing a 10th frame. He took the mound again in extras, allowing two runs but preserving Boston's lead. Strahm finished with two runs allowed (one earned), three hits, one walk, and three strikeouts over two innings. He earned the win as Boston ultimately defeated Toronto by a score of 6-5.
