Julio Urias earns the win for the Dodgers to avoid sweep to Rockies

by Josh Thiessen | Thu, Jun 30th 10:16am EDT

Julio Urias pitched 5 1/3 innings on Wednesday, striking out five, walking one, and giving up six hits for three earned runs as he picked up the win over the Rockies in a 8-4 game.

Fantasy Impact:

Urias' win Wednesday was his sixth of the season and it finally brought him back to .500 as he now sits with a record of 6-6 on the season. The Dodgers starting pitcher is pitching to the tune of a 2.64 ERA and a 1.03 WHIP which are both above average for starters in the league. The 25 year old's biggest issue at the moment is how many home runs he gives up as he is averaging 1.32 HR/9. Urias can be started in every outing he appears on the mound, and his next will come against the Rockies again on July 4th.
